LLG: What have you done with your CD collection? Have you digitized them? Do you save it on an external drive? Ever since free online streaming sites like Spotify and Pandora came to be, I stopped my purchasing of music. The only music I buy now is Japanese (which you really can’t get the most recent to stream on Spotify). After cleaning up the duplicate songs, I ended up with roughly 1600 songs. Now, if I have it digitized, I might as well listen to it. Google Play Music had the most ideal solution, (I mean, you can upload up to 500,000 songs for free) but it takes ions to upload and doesn’t sync to my 2 devices, so I gave up and found that you can store your music in Dropbox and use cloud players. I already have plenty of storage space in Dropbox so it’s a win win. No more storing music in my laptop either. What a relief!

Also started the transcription project. I now have more respect for those who are closed caption writers. It’s not easy transcribing what another person said, especially when they aren’t grammatically correct. Not sure if a perfectionist should take on a project like this, but it’s a small income of some sort.

Starting small again to take steps towards action. Hope by the end of the weekend, I’ll have a couple things lined up.

Grateful for poetry, journal prompts, Dropbox, Japanese music, and typing.
